City Bus (5.0+) is a high-detail, performance-optimized game resource pack designed for city visualization, drivable games, and multiplayer environments. The bus model features meticulous detail without unnecessary polygons and is optimized for real-time performance using efficient mesh structures, LODs, and Nanite technology where applicable. The blueprint leverages Nanite’s capabilities to deliver high detail with reduced normal map usage and draw calls, and has been tested and optimized for Lumen lighting.
The resource pack includes a drivable vehicle that supports both short 4-wheel and long 6-wheel articulated bus variants in a single blueprint. It features a unique design with no copyright issues. The bus comes with a comprehensive sound system including horn, engine (electric/diesel), brakes, tires, turn signals, and doors. Materials are customizable with adjustable parameters for body, plastic, glass, and other surfaces.
Players can select from 8 exterior and 8 interior presets or fully customize colors and materials. The pack includes 4 seat fabric patterns, customizable and randomizable registration plates, and interactive features such as opening doors (press Num 1, 2, 3), kneeling (press Num 5 or open doors), and controlling headlights (press L), stop lights, reverse, dashboard lights, and realistic high/low beams (press K). Turn signals (press <, >) and hazard lights (press /) are also supported.
A dashboard screen displays real-time information such as odometer, trip distance, speed, opened doors, turn signals, and beam settings. The vehicle includes driver and passenger figures (not for close-up shots) and optional air conditioner meshes on the roof. The bus can be flipped back on wheels (press R) and supports engine start/stop (press E). Enhanced input and gamepad support are included, making it fully compatible with various control schemes. A city map for testing is provided, and the resource pack is compatible with Rush Hour – Vehicle Animator.
