
Weatherade: Snow and Rain System v1.1.6 is a comprehensive game resource pack designed for Unity that enables the creation of realistic snowy and rainy scenes. The system utilizes a set of finely tuned shaders and tools, supporting both Unity’s Built-in Render Pipeline (BIRP) and Universal Render Pipeline (URP). HDRP support is planned for future updates. It includes dedicated shaders for snow and rain coverage, allowing dynamic environmental effects. A key feature is the Coverage Occlusion system, which automatically generates masks to prevent snow or rain from affecting objects beneath roofs or canopies. The Traces feature allows dynamic deformation of snow cover, enabling any object to leave visible traces with correct surface normals, requiring no complex setup. The GPU Particle System delivers dense, high-performance snowfall or rainfall effects, with the option to remove particles upon surface impact. Additional tools enhance workflow efficiency, including a Batch Shader Swapper for rapid material conversion, Total Brush (lite), and custom data-driven tessellation for terrain.
