
Daz To Unreal 5.5-5.6 is a plugin pair designed to transfer assets from Daz Studio to Unreal Engine, supporting characters, props, and animations. The plugin primarily supports Genesis 3 and Genesis 8 characters. Upon import, each character or prop is organized into its own folder in the Content Browser, with subfolders for textures and material instances. Material Instances are generated per surface in Daz Studio and are based on eight included Master Materials, which can be overridden in settings. A shared Material Function connects most material parameters, enabling project-wide material adjustments. The plugin includes compatible skeletons for both Genesis 3 and Genesis 8, with re-targeting options enabled. It also supports morphs in Unreal Engine 4.25 and later, collects textures ignored during FBX transfers, and renames root bones to “root” to enable animation sharing across character types. The plugin is available for Windows 64-bit and requires Daz Studio 4.10 or newer. No Daz Asset licenses are included—users must purchase them separately.
