Instance Damage System v2.0.3 (5.7)

Instance Damage System v2.0.3 (5.7)
Instance Damage System v2.0.3 (5.7) is a comprehensive solution for interacting with instanced static meshes in open-world environments with multiplayer support. Designed with UE5’s World Partition system in mind, it enables easy scripting through Blueprints via exposed functionalities. The system supports full World Partition integration, allowing hiding and unhiding of instances even when the mesh is not present in the level. It offers flexible setup using data tables, supports network replication, and enables saving and loading of instance states such as hidden/unhidden status. Features include spawning actors in place of instances, dynamic respawning based on player distance, a pooling system to reuse spawned objects, and per-mesh custom data configuration (e.g., experience, money). The resource pack includes example projects demonstrating its use in minigames such as a Chaos-based minigame inspired by Saints Row’s Mayhem, a destruction minigame involving random destruction of selected meshes, and a Wanted Level system that tracks player damage output for star rewards. Note: Pooling is disabled for chaos-based destructibles in the example project due to current limitations in resetting geometry collections to their initial state.
