
VICODynamics: Rope/Cloth/Soft-Body Simulation Plugin v1.4.7 (5.5) introduces a high-performance, engine-independent physics simulation system built on particle-based dynamics. It supports accurate rope, cloth, and soft-body simulations with advanced features such as collision detection, volume preservation, attachment points, tension constraints, drag modifiers, applied forces, and physically simulated wind with occlusion support. Cloth can be generated procedurally or converted from Static Meshes, and the plugin enables full simulation on CPU, ensuring cross-platform compatibility across PC, mobile, and console devices including Windows, Xbox One, PS4/5, Nintendo Switch, Android, and Meta Quest. While console support requires source code and the Unreal Engine plugin is still under development for Linux and Android (supported but not production-ready), the plugin delivers robust, multi-threaded, and asynchronous simulation performance without hardware dependencies. Fluid simulations are planned for future updates.
