Optimize and increase your framerate with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Game Super Resolution, now also for VR!
SGSR 1 Mobile – Upscaling for Unity has been tested in Unity versions 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and Unity 6!
SGSR is an upscaling technique specifically created for ultimate performance on mobile devices. It creates high-quality and resolution frames based on lower-resolution input, allowing your project to run in a drastically reduced resolution without losing visual quality and while increasing the framerate.
This Unity asset interfaces with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Game Super Resolution available at: https://github.com/quic/snapdragon-gsr.
If your project is limited by GPU performance, SGSR Mobile will increase the framerate. If limited by CPU performance, it reduces GPU workload, resulting in lower battery consumption on mobile devices.
SGSR is designed for easy setup with comprehensive documentation. It has been extensively tested with all default Unity Post-Processing effects, though custom Post-Processing assets may not work out of the box. Support for custom assets can be requested.
Additional upscaling options are available: FSR 3, XeSS, and DLSS 4 for enhanced visual fidelity on different hardware. SGSR 2 Mobile is also available for mobile and older devices where performance demands are higher.
