
Terrain To Mesh v2025.6 is a tool designed to convert Unity Terrain assets into meshes. It offers an ultra-fast conversion process with full control over the generated mesh’s vertex count. The tool includes a mesh split system, supporting both 16-bit and 32-bit mesh formats. It features a splatmap shader that mimics Unity’s built-in terrain shader with support for 16 layers. A basemap exporter bakes all terrain paint textures into a single texture file. The tool also exports tree, grass, and detail meshes, as well as holesmaps. It supports exporting terrains to OBJ format and provides both editor and run-time APIs. Terrain To Mesh v2025.6 is compatible with all render pipelines.
