MeshBlend v1.3.1 (5.3+)

MeshBlend v1.3.1 (5.3+)
MeshBlend v1.3.1 (5.3+) introduces next-generation mesh blending in Unreal Engine, enabling the seamless blending of any mesh with any other mesh—whether it’s a static mesh, landscape, or skeletal mesh. The tool offers controllable blending with a robust, battle-tested workflow used across real projects from indie to AAA titles. Designed for visual quality, performance, and artist efficiency, MeshBlend runs as a global Post Process shader just after scene rendering, before upscale, depth of field, translucency, or other effects. It supports a wide range of use cases, including games, offline rendering, and virtual production.

Key features include:
– Four preset blend sizes, each adjustable individually
– Intuitive editor workflow suitable for small projects up to AAA scale
– Flexibility to blend a few meshes or all meshes in the project
– Performance optimization with low, medium, and high quality settings tailored to hardware
– Compatibility with opaque materials (Surface, SubSurfaceScattering, Two-Sided, etc.), Nanite and Nanite displacement, decals (including mesh decals), static meshes, landscapes, skeletal meshes, and particles—provided they are opaque and write depth
– Full compatibility with temporal anti-aliasing solutions such as TAA, TSR, DLSS, and FSR
– Works seamlessly with Sequencer (best results with overscan) and effects that run after translucency (e.g., glass, fog, depth of field)

MeshBlend delivers visually appealing results without compromising performance, making it a powerful asset for both creative and technical workflows in Unreal Engine 5.3 and above.
