 Introducing the Black Rose Mesh Utility v1.0.1 – a powerful package for Unity that enhances GPU and CPU performance by enabling real-time mesh editing in the scene. The utility includes three core tools: Landscape Simplifier, Mesh Combiner, and Mesh Cutter.

Landscape Simplifier generates fake background textures with customizable settings such as target texture resolution, landscape size, and distance parameters. Users can adjust layer configurations, sky rendering, and generate specific sides. It supports both sprite and mesh modes across Built-in, URP, and HDRP rendering pipelines.

Mesh Combiner allows easy combination of meshes from child hierarchy renderers. Users can select between 16-bit and 32-bit modes, configure mesh pivot points, and choose whether to retain or remove generated mesh channels like UVs and colors. It automatically generates Lightmap UVs with configurable options and supports saving the output as assets or exporting to FBX for full flexibility.

Mesh Cutter efficiently reduces vertex and triangle counts in scene geometry, either on a selected GameObject or within its child hierarchy. It offers customizable cutting rules and multiple view modes including point, plane, region, and mixed. Cutting modes such as Backfacing and Unseen provide optimized results. Users can preview cut effects in the scene view and adjust cutting angles and resolutions. The tool integrates seamlessly with Landscape Simplifier for improved performance.
