
The Additional Controls v5.1+ game resource pack is designed to streamline the addition of new controls and abilities to your game. This updated version replaces the original Additional Controls and is still under active development, with plans to introduce and enhance more advanced systems in the future. Currently available features include:
– Gliding: Press G while in the air or falling to toggle the glider.
– Ziplines: Press E when overlapping a zipline cable to activate.
– Flying: Press T to toggle mouse-aimed flight.
– Ledge Climbing: Automatically detects ledges, allowing you to grab, climb, and drop down.
– Wall Climbing: Press F when facing a wall to grab and begin climbing.
– Teleporting: Activate by pressing X, then use the left mouse button to teleport; a teleport pad is included in the map.
– Mount: Summon using right-click then left-click; press Y to toggle mount state, and E to ride or dismount.
– Grapple Hook: Hold Q to use.
– Aiming: Toggle aiming with the right mouse button.
– Portals: Right-click to set a destination point, then press 0 to define a second point.
– Damage, Healing, and Respawn Systems: Simply walk over corresponding plates to activate.
– Day/Night Cycle: Automatically cycles between day and night.
– Interactive Torches: Pick up, carry, and place.
– Sprint/Stamina System: Available for use.
– Experience System: Tracks player progression.
These systems are currently based on placeholder animations and should be replaced with custom animations tailored to your game. The resource pack was developed in Unreal Engine 5.2.1 using the new Mannequin system. Future updates will include additional systems and enhancements, accompanied by comprehensive documentation to support easy integration and modding. All documentation is provided in the root folder of the project. This version is not yet fully replicated.
