By streaming per-entity data—such as location, velocity, orientation, and animation state—into Niagara and baking skeletal animations into textures via BAT, users achieve smooth, GPU-driven rendering without sacrificing Mass Entity’s built-in behavior or scalability. Key features include: BAT-driven static mesh animation with automatic bone-animation texture baking and per-LOD weight maps; dynamic LOD switching on a single mesh for optimal performance at any distance; an editor widget workflow to generate BAT assets, configure materials, and set up spawners in just a few clicks; integration with Mass Spawner & Zone Graph, including fully configurable spawn counts and static mesh assignment; and Trigger Volume support for dynamic StateTree events with spatial grid efficiency.
