Black Eye is compatible with Unreal Engine 5.1–5.5 and all supported platforms. It includes the Follow Component, which moves the camera with customizable damping, deadzones, object targeting (including multiple objects with bias weighting), and offset controls in local or world space. The LookAt Component manages camera rotation using a "through-the-lens" approach with extensive screen-space framing options, supporting tracking of entire shapes or specific points on characters, multiple characters, and dynamic FOV with lens limits and custom zoom damping. Velocity-based look-ahead ensures compositional room when subjects move quickly. The plugin features a Cross Camera setup for two-subject scenes such as dialog or combat, multi-subject tracking with per-subject weighting, and full Blueprint exposure, allowing dynamic control of camera properties via game events.
