The Modular Rome Equipment 4.20+ game resource pack offers a wide variety of assets to customize a Roman character. It includes multiple arms, chests, shoes, helmets, weapons, and shields that can be assembled into a unique outfit. Players can choose to create a centurion, gladiator, or raider, with each piece using the same base material and a specific mask texture for detailed visual adjustments. The skeletal meshes are skinned to the UE4 skeleton, with weapon and shield pivots aligned to the hand grip for compatibility with other asset packs, though animations are not included. The pack comes with a fully functional character and character editor Blueprint sample that enables all equipment customization, as well as tools to save and load character setups or spawn NPCs from predefined configurations. It is designed to work with UE4.17’s integrated clothing system, where cloth pieces are skinned but can be disabled for low-end hardware. A thumbnail capturer Blueprint is also included, allowing users to generate icons directly within Unreal Engine without external software. The assets were created by Thomas Vogel, with technical support provided by Petricore Systems.
