 vTabs 2 v2.1.3 (06 Dec 2025) introduces a powerful and intuitive tab system to enhance productivity within the Unity Editor. With drag-and-drop functionality, users can quickly create folder tabs and inspector tabs for assets, GameObjects, or components. Smooth scrolling between tabs is supported, with Shift enabling tab switching and Ctrl-Shift allowing tab movement. A smooth scroll animation ensures a seamless user experience. Favorite tabs can be saved and bookmarked for quick access using Ctrl-T to reopen them. The plugin supports browser-like shortcuts: Ctrl-T to open a new tab, Ctrl-W to close a tab, and Ctrl-Shift-T to restore a previously closed one. vTabs 2 integrates seamlessly with other editor enhancers such as vHierarchy 2 and vFolders 2, displaying icons directly in GameObject and folder tabs.
