 Grid Placement System v2.2.0 is designed to be extremely customizable and prioritizes ease of use. No object configuration is required—pass an object to the grid, and it automatically handles all calculations to determine how many grid cells it occupies. Customize every aspect of the grid, including width and height, number of cells, visualization of grid cells and occupied cells, object alignment within cells, and visual feedback during placement. You can change the grid cell shape from square to any desired form, such as a circle, triangle, or dot. All grid settings are accessible in a single, intuitive interface. The system includes custom editor tools that allow real-time visualization of grid modifications without entering play mode. Suitable for a wide range of genres, including tower defense, city builders, simulation, and any game where players need to place items on a grid. Note: The showcase images use 3D models from a third-party low-poly asset pack, which are not included in this package. Support engine version: 2020.3.32 or higher.
