Users can select a material, choose resolution up to 8K, and bake the result either directly to a Texture Asset in the Content Browser or export it as PNG (8-bit) or EXR (16-bit Linear) for external editing. The tool supports 16-bit float baking to eliminate banding in gradients, heightmaps, and SDFs, ensuring high precision. Key workflow features include auto-naming (converting M_ or MI_ prefixes to T_), thumbnail preview for instant verification, automatic directory creation, and flexible settings for resolutions from 64x64 to 8192x8192 with support for custom compression (Default, Normalmap, Grayscale, HDR). Ideal for baking expensive procedural noises for runtime performance, creating SDFs for UI elements, generating gradient maps and masks, and pre-calculating complex math into lookup tables (LUTs).
