This Sidekick content pack introduces a faction of ruthless Apocalyptic Outlaws into your character creation workflow. It includes 300+ modular, rigged character parts such as helmets, masks, weapons, and gear, enabling the creation of diverse and rebellious outlaw characters tailored to your project.
With the Sidekick Character Creator tool—available in the Unity editor—players can build and customize characters using a wide range of components. The tool supports combining multiple Sidekick packs to generate unique, genre-bridging character combinations. Users can either explore creative customization or leverage expert presets for faster development.
The pack is fully rigged to Unity’s Humanoid skeleton (Mecanim compatible), featuring dynamic joints for realistic motion in capes, hair, and beards. It includes facial blend shapes for expressions and lip-sync (compatible with ARKit) and body blend shapes to adjust proportions. The character designs are specifically crafted to match Synty’s POLYGON environments and work seamlessly with Synty’s ANIMATION packs.
The Sidekick Character Creator tool offers additional features: direct material color editing in the editor, expert presets for rapid creation, saving and loading custom characters, baking finalized characters into optimized prefabs for performance, and a Runtime API for in-game character customization. Users can mix and match Sidekick themes to generate endless, unique character designs.
