 Unit Formation v2.3.0 is a game resource pack that enables developers to place game objects in specific formations both in the editor and at runtime. The package offers a simple, no-code solution with a variety of pre-defined formations such as Line, Rectangle, Rectangle Border, Ring, Filled Circle, Triangle, Triangle Border, and Cone. Users can customize spacing, adjust the rotation pivot (from front to center), add random noise to final positions, and easily create custom formations through an intuitive interface. It supports both Unity's old and new input systems and works independently of game time scaling, making it compatible with paused or slowed gameplay. The package integrates with Unity's NavMesh system and the A* Pathfinding Project for navigation, allowing units to reach their formation positions and rotate toward the formation direction. A demonstration scene is included to showcase all features. Note: This package does not include a movement system for units; for that functionality, developers can refer to the Moving Formations package.
