 Advanced Building Placement (Walls, Grid) - RTS Engine Module v2023.0.1 introduces advanced building placement systems for real-time strategy (RTS) games. This module supports grid-based placement and segmentation placement, enabling precise and flexible building layouts. Grid placement allows buildings to be positioned on a defined grid, with customizable cell sizes and visual indicators showing available placement areas and surrounding cells. Segmentation placement enables placing individual segments of buildings, supporting the creation of walls and structures with configurable first and last segments, as well as periodic replacement of segments. Segments can be placed on a grid or freely in the map, and they can snap to existing buildings, restricting rotation and direction. The module also supports dynamic wall placement, including the ability to convert wall segments into gates that can open or close, allowing units to pass through. Additionally, the Faction Entity Seller component enables factions to sell units or buildings and receive resources, even for partially constructed buildings, allowing for cancellation of placement during construction. The module is compatible with Unity Engine version 2021.3.15 or higher.
