 Polygon Reducer v1.1.0 optimizes your meshes by reducing their vertex count while preserving visual quality, making it ideal for setting up levels of detail (LODs). It allows real-time mesh transformation through an intuitive slider, working seamlessly both in the editor and at runtime. The tool supports all Long Term Support (LTS) versions of Unity, all major render pipelines—including Built-In, URP, HDRP, and SRP—skinned models with animations, and meshes with any number of submeshes. It preserves critical mesh data such as UVs, normals, tangents, and bone weights, features a low memory footprint, and generates reduced meshes dynamically at runtime without requiring disk storage. Users can easily configure LODs by cloning the original mesh, adding the Polygon Reducer component, and using the cloned object as a renderer within an LOD component.
