Cherry Plum, Prunus cerasifera - Seasons, Tree Pack is a comprehensive tree asset pack designed for Unreal Engine 5, featuring dynamic seasonal changes and optimized performance. The pack includes 9 cherry plum trees with standard leaves and 9 with spring flowers, available in Super High, High, and Low poly versions for each model. All trees are designed with Nanite in mind, featuring high-poly models with fully modeled leaves, high-poly versions using alpha-masked individual leaves, and low-poly versions with card-based geometry, custom LODs, and impostors.
The pack includes a full seasonal system powered by a Blueprint controller and interface, allowing users to switch between seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) with dynamic changes to foliage, leaf fall, and snow coverage. Leaf materials support seasonal coloration, wind effects, and leaf fall animations that vary by season. Bark materials support vertex-painted mixing of textures, moss, and lichen. The master vegetation shader includes layered wind control (two layers for branches, two for leaves) and full tree swing, with support for clutter interaction such as trampling and player movement.
Included are 21 clutter assets—such as Rosa Canina bushes, grass seedlings, wild carrot, and yellow rattle—available in both high and low poly versions. All clutter assets are optimized for performance and include interactive behavior. The pack also features a world-wide Season Handler Blueprint, prefabs with built-in seasonal control, and four example maps: a showcase with documentation, and three versions of the ExampleMap (Low, High, Super High) for different performance levels.
All materials are built with reusable custom functions for wind, season selection, snow, moss, lichen, impostors, and coloration, enabling flexibility in customization. The pack is designed with scalability, performance, and usability in mind, offering a high-quality, production-ready solution for realistic, dynamic environments in Unreal Engine 5.
