 Enviro 3 - Terrain Shader v1.2.1 (05 Mar 2026) is a PBR terrain shader specialized for dynamic weather effects such as rain, puddles, and snow. It features anti-tiling sampling, tessellation, and height blending. The shader supports all render pipelines, including Unity 6. It offers a simple and quick setup with up to 12 layers (with future increases). Blending options include linear or height-based methods. It includes dynamic snow with subsurface scattering lighting, dynamic puddles with wave and rain ripple effects, and dynamic wetness with rain flow and splotches. An optional anti-tiling stochastic sampling and optional tessellation support are available. Terrain holes are supported, and the shader is fully integrated with Enviro 3 - Sky and Weather and Enviro 3 - UBER shader. It also includes a simple texture channel packer. Current limitations include lack of mobile support and requirement for texture array support. Tessellation and instanced rendering cannot be activated simultaneously.
