The Action Role Playing Game (ARPG) sample project is a fast-paced third-person hack and slash game designed to help Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) developers learn how to use UE4 for developing high-end mobile games for Android and iOS. The project and accompanying documentation cover a range of useful topics for UE4 developers, including:
- Utilizing C++ and Blueprints together in a UE4 project.
- Setting up and using certain aspects of UE4's Ability System.
- Supporting multiple platforms such as Android, iOS, PC, Mac, and consoles.
Note: Due to the complexity of UE4's Ability System, ARPG only implements a subset of its features. Additionally, a solid understanding of C++ is required to fully grasp certain aspects of the project.
