 LSPP v3.1.1 is a light scattering solution for Unity URP that enables realistic god rays, light shafts, and volumetric lighting. It works by first rendering an occlusion texture using scene depth, then estimating light and shadow areas based on that texture, and finally rendering a light scattering texture in screen space. Key features include compatibility with the Volumes framework, configurable falloff, density, and color, high performance, and visually impressive results. The resource pack is compatible with Unity 2022.3 LTS, the Universal Render Pipeline, and both Deferred and Forward render paths. It supports DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, and Metal APIs. Available on console and PC platforms, it is not compatible with WebGL, mobile, or VR.
