 The Visual Engine | Integration for HTrace WSGI v21.3.0 introduces a powerful combination of high-quality shading and dynamic global illumination. This integration enables the use of the Visual Engine's unified shader system with HTrace WSGI's fully dynamic ray-tracing capabilities for HDRP, delivering accurate indirect lighting with infinite light bounces in both static and dynamic environments. To function properly, the latest versions of both the Visual Engine and HTrace WSGI are required. The integration computes a low-fidelity representation of Visual Engine materials for efficient rendering while maintaining accurate light bounces, supporting dynamic effects such as tinting, cutout, dryness, overlay, wetness, dithering, and emissive—regardless of object visibility or occlusion. Version 21.2.0 added support for the Visual Engine's terrain shaders. However, the Blanket Conforming and Terrain Blending features are not supported in this integration.
