COZY: ReSound - Adaptive Soundtrack Module v1.2.0 introduces an adaptive soundtrack system that dynamically responds to in-game environments and player actions. This module enhances immersion by automatically adjusting music based on player surroundings—such as switching to calm music during peaceful exploration, tense soundscapes during combat, or atmospheric tracks during storms or nighttime.
The module is compatible with COZY: STYLIZED WEATHER 3.2+ and is included in COZY: Pro. It offers a range of customizable features, including transition types (no fade, fade in, fade out, crossfade), a weighted random selection system for song selection based on a seed, and per-biome setlists. Developers can configure silence periods to prevent music fatigue and include 15 built-in tracks from Sam Bowman Music, with a custom editor available to convert existing songs into ReSound-compatible tracks.
ReSound supports both random playlist playback and single-track playback. Built with creators in mind, it features mixer groups, a profile-based architecture, an intuitive module UI, and API-driven playhead control for seamless integration into game logic. This module extends the COZY ecosystem, enabling developers to create responsive, emotionally engaging audio experiences that evolve with gameplay.
