 LCD Shader | LCD Object Shader for Unity URP v1.1.0 is an object shader that allows you to apply it directly to objects in your scene to make them visually resemble LCD screens. It is not a screen post-process effect and should not be applied to the entire screen to simulate an LCD filter. The shader emulates real-world display distortions such as brightness loss, chroma loss, and hue shifting. It includes subpixel screen details, scanlines, and microdisplay noise. Users can customize diode arrangement, diode style, and scanline style. The asset includes 5 diode arrangements, 12 diode styles, and 4 scanline styles by default—these are simple textures that can be replaced or extended by users. The shader is built using Shader Graph and includes 1 Shader Graph, 2 subgraphs, a custom shader editor, and various demo resources such as 2 demo materials, 1 demo scene, 2 demo prefabs (one for image and one for video), 2 screen samples (16:9 and 9:16 variants), one image, one video, and demo animations.
