 The MicroVerse - Masks package enhances terrain stamping by enabling the creation and use of texture masks. These masks can be consumed by various assets, including MicroSplat's global tint textures, snow, wetness, stream, lava, and other external systems. The masks support filtering through all MicroVerse filters—such as height, slope, angle, curvature, and texture—along with full falloff and noise options available in a MicroVerse stamp. The mask module also stores internal buffers used for data like curvature, masks, and SDF lookups, which can be utilized at runtime for calculations such as distance to the nearest tree. All generated maps are updated in real time as you work, ensuring that any system using this data remains synchronized and current.
