 PCG Biome: River Generator (Interactive Foliage, Tree, Water) v5.3+ is a complete solution for procedurally generating water, rivers, lakes, and swamps. It automatically populates terrain with water, plants, and bushes based on the desired water level. The resource pack features interactive foliage using photoscanned assets with Nanite support (no LODs included), complex hierarchical wind simulation where each individual leaf responds to wind conditions, and compatibility with Megascans trees. A PCG Blueprint Actor enables easy population of landscapes with water and vegetation, including ambient and interaction sounds, as well as seasonal variations. The asset is optimized for next-gen graphics and requires up-to-date graphics drivers and DirectX 12 support. It is designed to work with upscaling and frame generation technologies. For optimal performance, a recommended system includes a 12-core CPU @ 3.4 GHz, 64 GB RAM, an NVIDIA RTX 3080 (or RTX 4060 for frame generation), and at least 10 GB of VRAM. Minimum requirements include an 8-core CPU @ 3.6 GHz, 32 GB RAM, an NVIDIA RTX 2080 or higher, at least 8 GB of VRAM, and 1080p resolution at 50% performance. Users are required to use the included DefaultEngine.ini file. Performance issues may indicate that the system does not meet the demands of Nanite foliage, Lumen lighting, and Virtual Shadows.
